On January 29th, 2019, Cliff Sims new book was making its rounds, mainly because President Donald J. Trump tweeted about it.
The book was released yesterday and Trump immediately brought attention to it by criticizing it’s content. The book ‘Team of Vipers’ goes into Trump’s inner workings and how Trump told Sims to get him a list of untrustworthy people. News later broke that Trump was thinking about suing Sims for breaching an NDA. If Trump was trying to minimize the book, it was a failure on his part.
Whenever a book is released about Trumps White House like ‘Fire and Fury’ by Michael Wolff or ‘Fear’ by Bob Woodward it is normally hyped up by the media as being damaging to Trump. There might be one or two controversial subjects and name calling, but a hidden gem here or there for the people who pay attention and then it fizzles out. I expect Sims book to operate in the same fashion based on what we were able to draw from the past. That is the beauty of confirmation bias, it creates a universality among who is reading it and the same story will be interpreted differently by everyone who reads it.
With the name Cliff Sims, his initials CS drew the attention of a few astute researchers because those were the two letters associated with a low level spy in Trump’s orbit. Doing some research I discovered something that I had completely forgotten. Trump’s Campaign and the RNCC were both hacked as well during the campaign and that Trump had hired Crowdstrike. Personally, I think the CS stands for Crowdstrike.
If you are unfamiliar, Crowdstrike was the third party contractor that the FBI used for the emails of Hillary Clinton, the DNC, and the DCCC. The intrusions to the RNCC were similar to the Democratic intrusions. You can see why this was forgotten by most; it is information that may vindicate Trump from Russia collusion since his party was targeted as well. It is hard to paint Hillary Clinton as a victim when the same thing happened to Trump.
The 55,000 sealed indictments under former AG Jeff Sessions is another thing that is known but forgotten. The narrative surrounding Jeff Sessions is that he did nothing. I do not think the 55,000 indictments are all politically based, but it shows how the Department of Justice is doing it’s job again.
We also forget things that damage Hillary as well because it just doesn’t fit into the medias narrative. One major instance is Hillary voluntarily giving up her security clearance. This was reported on 10/12/18 and only reported on 10/12/18.
The former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State just voluntarily gave up her security clearance? It was not out of the blue either as her security clearance was under review by the Trump Administration for her mishandling of classified information via her emails. This narrative makes as much sense as Trump interviewing Robert Mueller for FBI director the day before he was appointed as the head of the Special Counsel.
Hillary Clinton was not the first person from the Obama Administration to have their security clearance revoked either. On 8/15/18 John O. Brennan had his security clearance revoked.

Hillary Clinton had a golden bridge built for her, but it seems that in the grand scheme of things, John Brennan is not that important.
